THEME
We are finished with Space and we will now be talking about Plants & Insects for the next two months (until the end of the year!)
SPRING TEA PARTY
Our annual Spring Tea Party will take place on Friday, May 23rd. This a special time of year where the children get to practice their grace & courtesy skills that they have been learning all year long with someone special in their lives. The guest could be a parent, grandma, aunt, uncle, friend, etc. The Tea Party times are 10:30 (morning class) and 2:30 (afternoon class). Because of our class size, we are asking that your child bring only 1 guest to attend the Tea Party. There will be regular classes for the children on that day. Parents Please arrive on time, so as to avoid disappointment with the children. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 21st in person as plans need to be made ahead of time.
ART SHOW
There will be an Art Exhibit starting Friday, May 23rd at Tiny Town Montessori which will display all the art work the kindergarten children have done in their art class with Andrea Blonsky-Bell for the last 10 weeks. The art work will be displayed from May 23rd to May 30th and will take place downstairs. The art work is a must see for everyone!! Take the time to view the exhibit with your child(ren), especially children who will be kindergartener’s next year.
HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS
t As the weather is getting warmer, we will be going out more with the children. Please ensure that they always have a light coat or sweater with them for unpredictable weather changes.
t Also, please ensure that your child is wearing proper footwear for in class and outdoor purposes. Children need to be comfortable in class and should not have to worry about their shoes sliding off, especially at the playground. Also, sandals don’t work well for Dance/Music class as the children can fall and twist their ankles.
t Just a reminder to use the sidewalks when dropping off and picking up children instead of cutting through the grass on the North Side of the building as we are really trying to get our grass to grow there.
t Please discourage children from climbing on the big rock outside the building and playing with the white and grey rock. We have noticed a lot of the rock on the road and various parts of the grounds.
(THANK YOU !!)
