We will be talking about SPACE for the next 2 months.  We are excited about this theme as children always seem to be very interested in it.

 

 

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

We will be holding our Spring Parent Teacher Conferences on the evening of March 10th for parents that are working during the day, all day March 11 & 12.  Please look for sign up sheets and times on the parent bulletin board soon.

 

 

FATOUMATA PAYMENT

Just a reminder for those of you who haven’t paid your $12 for Fatoumata, to please do so!!

We would like to invite parents to bring in flowers for the class to arrange as the flower shop we usually get flowers from do not have flowers left over at the end of the week to give us.

 

 

KINDERGARTEN ART CLASSES
Art classes for the kindergarten children have already started and the children seem to be really enjoying it!  An Art Show will be held at the end of 10 weeks for everyone to view.

 

 

USBOURNE BOOK FAIR

We will be holding an Usbourne Book Fair at Tiny Town during Parent Teacher Conferences during the day on March 11 & 12.  The fair will be held downstairs.

THANKS TO . . .

·        Marjorie who came to present her African masks to that she made.  The children got to try on the masks and act out the different animals and thoroughly enjoyed acting out!  We had some wild roars!!!


UPCOMING EVENTS

·        We will be holding an Alphabet Buffet Party at school to celebrate the end of all our sounds.  More details to follow in next month’s newsletter.

·        Mitford Middle Students will be coming to our classes in March & April to do some reading and crafts with the children.
